Every AMNA pad is produced by marginalized women and refugees at our El-Obour factory, providing them with training and decent work opportunities.

Draw menstrual fluid away from the skin and into the absorbent core, keeping the skin dry and breathable
Multiple layers of high-standard microfiber fabric, specifically built to absorb and hold menstrual fluid
The final layer consists of Polyurethane Laminate (PUL), a high-standard fabric that is waterproof yet remains breathable

Our manufacturing model combines industrial capability with social impact. Every product we produce reflects investment in skills development, job creation, and long term economic opportunity within the communities we operate in. Over the years, we have expanded our operations across Sudan and Egypt.
Alsalam’s tailoring skills training programme began in Sudan and later expanded to Egypt, providing free vocational training opportunities for young people, including individuals from marginalised communities. With more than 500 graduates, the programme also supports participants in accessing decent employment opportunities, either within Alsalam Factory or through job placement with other factories.
